Lose 10 pounds in 10 days! Can anyone really do that? The truth is, you can. When there are so many positive changes around you, why can’t losing weight be achieved in a short period of time? This may be the question that is on all weight conscious people’s minds. Being overweight has so many disadvantages. Apart from being self conscious and seeing people stare at you all the time, there are also the health issues that come with it. Nevertheless there are so many ways you could lose 10 pounds. The result of exercising unhealthy methods to lose 10 pounds is dehydration or the loss of water in the body. Patients with dehydration issues will often get headaches and feelings of nausea. The moment you are re-hydrated, you could even gain a few extra pounds.

The problem for some individuals to end up in dehydration is because of extra pressure as a result of having to meet a deadline of losing weight in 10 days. Why not try to stick to a different plan instead of trying to lose 10 pounds in 10 days. As long as you lose 10 pounds, the number of days needed to achieve it will not matter.

Individuals who are extreme in their mission to lose 10 pounds will eat a lower amount of food and almost starve themselves to achieve their target. The important thing is not to starve oneself. Always eat food that is rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Exercise on a regular basis. Being active will be the first step to lose 10 pounds.

Quick ways are rarely the solution for losing weight. The goal should be to have a permanent weight loss instead of something temporary.
